Jay Biancamano
Executive Chairman, Pipeline Financial Group, Inc.

Throughout his career, Jay Biancamano has been at the forefront of technological and regulatory change across multiple asset classes, most notably with financial technology firms Liquidnet and ITG.

As head of Liquidnet's Global Marketplace, Jay was responsible for a number of global initiatives, and led the Global Execution Strategy. He was responsible for OMS and EMS partnerships, as well as creating the single largest global equities pool through numerous global partnerships with brokers and exchanges. Jay developed numerous solutions for buy-side execution problems such as unique integration strategy, and spearheaded the launch of Liquidnet H2O®, which became the largest and most liquid ATS in the world.

At ITG, Jay led several strategic initiatives and developed new businesses for both the buy-side and sell-side. He was responsible for innovations such as POSIT Watch and AlterNet. Prior to moving to the business side he spent a number of years in compliance and regulatory, creating many of the first automated surveillance systems in futures and cash equities. He has also worked with numerous regulatory agencies such as the SEC, FINRA, CFTC and the FSA and on the floors of a number of equities and derivatives exchanges globally, including the CME, CBOT, Deutsche Börse, Hong Kong Futures Exchange, SIMEX, Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Life and the IPE. Jay received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers and an MBA from Fordham.

E. Reid Curley
Chief Operating Officer

Reid has over 20 years of experience in Equity Trading Services and Systems, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, and Private Equity. He joined Pipeline in 2004 as CFO and was named COO in 2011. Prior to joining Pipeline, he started and was the head of Equity Private Placements for Wachovia Securities and served as a Director for Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in its Private Equity Group. While at Wachovia and DBAB, Reid raised over $450 million in capital for both private and public companies. Reid has also worked in investment banking for Salomon Brothers and as a lender to the communications sector for First National Bank of Maryland. Reid earned his MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business, and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Vincent A. Aniello
Vice-President, Director of Network Operations

Vincent has over 15 years experience designing and managing high performance networks and systems in the financial and telecommunications industries. Vincent joined Pipeline as the Director of Network Operations in 2004 to support the launch of the Pipeline trading system and to build Pipeline's operational support team. Prior to Pipeline, Vincent served as the Manager of Network Engineering at Easylink Services Corporation for 8 years, building Easylink's global IP network which consisted of over 30 data centers worldwide supporting Easylink customers in 400 of the Global 500 corporations. Vincent received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers College in 1994.

Howard S. Engelhart
Vice-President, Director of Engineering

Howard has over 15 years experience designing distributed software systems for the financial and telecommunications industries. He joined Pipeline in 2000 and worked to develop Liquidity Tracker, a system that allowed firms to target market makers based on recent trading activity, which was integrated into NASDAQ's SelectNet ECN. Howard went on to build BlockLink, a block trading network platform which enabled individual brokerages to use their proprietary trade data to route Liquidity Tracker orders to their customers. Prior to joining Pipeline, Howard served as Senior Software Engineer for Mail.com where he created back-end software for their global Business Messaging Service (BMS). Howard received his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College.

Stephen D. Marchini
Managing Director

Steve has over 20 years of multiple asset class trading experience and portfolio management. He joined Pipeline in 2009 and helped create the Alpha Pro strategy platform and ran the product launch. Before joining Pipeline, Steve was at J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he served as a Managing Director. Steve's experience at J.P Morgan included accounting and tax reporting, trading in equity and fixed income securities for both European and Asian markets, portfolio management , sector-specific trading for U.S. equities and supervising the entire trading process for a group of 10 equity and futures traders. Steve received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.

Henri Waelbroeck, Ph.D.
Vice-President, Director of Research

Henri has over 20 years experience finding solutions to complex problems. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin in 1990. He worked at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences for 10 years, where he earned a tenured position as Associate Research Professor and published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals in Theoretical Physics and Complex Systems Science. In 1997 he co-founded Adaptive Technologies, which created and sold the world's first agent-based quantitative analysis system able to identify and exploit predictability bubbles. Adaptive Technologies was incorporated in the US in 2001 and partnered with Pipeline in the design of the Algorithm Switching Engine. Henri joined Pipeline shortly after its launch in 1999 where he has helped create systems that enable traders to confront the challenges of an increasingly complex marketplace. He is currently focused on the future capabilities of Aritas' Alpha Pro service.

Richard L. West
Vice-President, General Counsel

Richard has over 15 years of broad legal and regulatory compliance experience. Most recently, Richard was the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and a member of the Board of Directors of SecondMarket, Inc., where he was responsible for all legal affairs of the company. Before joining SecondMarket, Richard was General Counsel and CCO of The National Research Exchange, Inc.. Richard serves on SIFMA's General Counsels Committee as well as the SIFMA Technology and Regulation Committee. Richard graduated with a J.D. from Loyola University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University. He is admitted to the bar in New York and England & Wales.
